Tuesdays Tip - Dryer Sheets?

I have a new cleaning obsession... Snuggle Creme Fabric Softener. It smells fabulous and makes me almost want to do the laundry. Almost....

With my new laundry indulgence I have lost the need for fabric softener sheets. So what do I do with them now? Let me tell you:
Did you know you can do all these things with fabric sheets?
  1. Eliminate static on your TV (old tube TV not Flat Screens)
  2. Place a sheet inside your suitcase as your travel, make your clothes smell like home.
  3. Rub on clothing and furniture to remove pet hair.
  4. Clean blinds with them.
  5. Deodorize smelly shoes, leave a sheet in your shoes overnight.
  6. My favorite is placing a sheet under your seat in the car. Smells up the whole car.

Sometimes my hair has major static cling so I rub a dryer sheet on it. It goes away instantly.

This is odd but did you also know that if you put a dryer sheet in those icky hard to clean casserole dishes the gunk will come right off? So you make a yummy meal, then fill the pan with hot water, throw in a sheet, come back the next morning while you make coffee and viola...it is clean!

Thanks for the tips. I always put a dryer sheet in with my sheets when I fold them. Then, I put them all in the pillow case. When I pull them out again they still smell fresh. Also, you can use liquid fabric softner mixed with water to remove sticky hairspray from bathroom floors. It makes the room smell sooo good too!

Great tips! You can also use the sheets as a bug repellant. It looks silly, but if you pin one to your shirt, bugs will stay away. :)
