Tuesdays Tip - More Spray Painting Projects!

I was mourning the loss of the American Traditions Oil Rubbed Bronze (ORB) Spray Paint.

I am glad to announce I found a replacement!!

Now I can finish painting the door knobs down stairs. I found these great containers at Kirkland's. Only problem I did not like the gold tops.
A little spray paint and metallic glaze... perfect!
I removed the lids and sprayed them.
It gave almost a black look so I used some metallic craft paint to antique it a bit. The lid on the left was glazed the right one was only the ORB spray paint.

  3. You should check out the fabulously frugal pumpkins on www.thediyshowoff.com. They are in her left side-bar as one of her fall projects -- spray painted pumpkins! You'd never know they didn't come from Pottery Barn. I thought of your blog when I saw that project :)

  7. That paint is great I used it last winter on the knobs on my kitchen cabinets, they were an ugly gold, I wanted the brushed nickel look to match the rest of the kichen, since I had already replaced several other things, no money in the budget for 65 knobs. I used a good primer and I have had no problems at all. Your canisters look great
